Simone ALFARANO is Associate Professor of Economics at the Universitat Jaume I. He obtained his MSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of Cagliari (1999) and a PhD in Quantitative Economics in 2006 at Kiel University. His main research roles in the project will include agent-based modeling applied to the theory of financial markets, the theory of networks, and behavioral economics.

Eva CAMACHO CUENA is Associate Professor of Economics at UJI. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics (UJI, 2002). Her main research interests include industrial economics, environmental economics, experimental economics and  individual decision making. She has published in: Environmental and Resource Economics, Ecological Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics and Journal of Economic Psychology
Andrea TEGLIO holds a PhD in Electronic and Computer Science Engineering (University of Genova) and a PhD in Economics (UJI). He is Associate Professor at the Economics Department of University Jaume I. His main research interests are agent-based modeling in economics, macroeconomics, complex systems, and nonlinear and chaotic dynamics. He is author of several scientific articles published in peer-reviewed international journals. He participated in the EU IST-FET Project EURACE (2006-09). He is currently the coordinator of the EU project SYMPHONY at the UJI.

Giulia PROVENZANO is currently a PhD student in Economics at UJI. She obtained her MSc in Finance at the University of Siena in 2010. Her current research focuses on an empirical network analysis of the Spanish system of banks and firms.
Marko PETROVIC is a PhD student at the Universitat Jaume I. He obtained his MA in Economics and Econometrics (2013) at the CERGE-EI, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. His main research interests are agent-based modeling in economics, macroeconomics and behavioral economics.
Manuel ILLUECA is Associate Professor of Financial Economics at UJI. He obtained his Ph.D. in Financial Economics (UJI). He held a visiting professor position at Indiana University from 2007 to 2008 and served as editor of the Spanish Accounting Review from 2007 to 2011. His area of research covers the economics of banking and other financial institutions, and financial accounting in the corporate sector. He has published in the Journal of Futures Markets, the Spanish Economic Review, Energy Economics, the Journal of Productivity Analysis and the International Small Business Journal, among others.
Aurora GARCIA-GALLEGO. Full Professor of Economic Theory and Industrial Economics at the Universitat Jaume I, Castellón (Spain). She holds a MA and PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). Her main research interests include microeconomics, experimental and behavioral economics, industrial organization, environmental economics and law and economics. She has published in international peer reviewed journals like the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Economics Letters, Ecological Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Theory and Decision, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, among others. She is a founding member and co-director of the Laboratorio de Economia Experimental (LEE) at her University in Castellón, coordinator of the research group ‘Economía Experimental and Computacional’ and a founding partner of the academic spin-off ‘Experimentia Consulting, S.L’
Vicente ORTS is Professor of Economics at UJI. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics (University of Valencia, 1987). His main research interests include international trade and economic geography, international macroeconomics, and location determinants and effects of FDI. He has published in: Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, International Review of Law and Economics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Southern Economic Journal, Review of Development Economics, Economics of Transition, Papers in Regional Science, Journal of Policy Modeling, and Energy Economics.
