Prof. Mauro GALLEGATI obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 1989 at the University of Ancona. He is Professor of Economics at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona. He has been visiting professor in several universities, including Stanford, MIT and Columbia. He is on the editorial board of several economic journals. His research includes business fluctuations, nonlinear dynamics, models of financial fragility and heterogeneous interacting agents. Mauro Gallegati is well known for his widely cited work with Joseph E. Stiglitz, developing a theory of asymmetric information with heterogeneous agents. He has published papers in major journals in economics, economic history and history of economic analysis, nonlinear mathematics, complexity and econophysics
Prof. Marco GALLEGATI obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 1997 at the University of Ancona. He is Professor of Economics at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona, Italy) and has been visiting scholar at QMUL, UCSC and NSU. His main research interests are business cycle analysis, the role financial factors in economic fluctuations and empirical applications of wavelet analysis in economics. He has published many empirical papers in international journals in economics and statistics and a book on wavelet applications in economics and finance.
Dr. Gabriele TEDESCHI obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona, Italy) in 2008. He has a research grant at UNIVPM and, since 2009, is member of CNR (Instituto dei sistemi complessi). His research interests include: complex networks in credit and financial systems, industrial organization and dynamics, evolutionary economics.

Prof. Maria Cristina Recchioni,   professor in Mathematics since 2001,  currently she is professor at the Department of Management  of the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona. She is author of over 80 scientific publications most of them published in international journals. Bibliometric indicators: Scopus: papers=49, Hirsch-index=9, Web of Science: papers=44, Hirsch-index=9. She is associate editor for Accounting and Finance Research journal. She has collaborated with several research institutes and companies among which Banca d’Italia (Rome), ENEA (Roma), Cineca (Bologna). Her research interests include: option pricing, stochastic volatility models and calibration procedures, linear and nonlinear multi-objective programming.
