Michael SCHRÖDER is head of the research department "International Finance and Financial Management" at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW). Since January 2011 he is also Adjunct Professor of Asset Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He holds a PhD in economics (Univ. of Mannheim, 1990) and a habilitation in business administration (Univ. of Stuttgart, 2009). From 1990 to 1995 he had been working with an international investment bank in Frankfurt/Main.

Frank BRÜCKBAUER studied management and economics at the Universities of Mainz and Mannheim. In his studies, he focused on banking, monetary and fiscal policy, as well as information and industrial economics.

Frank Brückbauer joined the Research Department "International Finance and Financial Management" of the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW) in August 2014. His current research interests include classical and agent-based approaches to jointly model financial markets and the real economy.


Jesper RIEDLER studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In the economics part of his studies he focused on financial markets, public economics and social security. His current research interests include complexity economics, agent based models and behavioral finance. Jesper joined the ZEW Research Department "International Finance and Financial Management" in March 2011.
